NCDATT is the advocacy, and reference group on national issues affecting trades, apprenticeship, and technology education and training in Canada.

What We Do

NCDATT is the public colleges and technical institutes advocacy group on national issues pertaining to trades, apprenticeship and technology education and training. We use our combines capabilities of our members to accomplish our mission.

NCDATT collaborates with national organizations such as CAF-FCA, CiCan, Polytechnics Canada and the Armed Forces and supports and participates with them to further mutually shared goals and objectives.

What We Do

The goal of NCDATT is to use the combined capabilities of the membership to:

  • Provide leadership in promoting educational and career opportunities in trades and apprenticeship;
  • Engage with business and industry, government agencies, and other educational systems and associations on strategic issues;
  • Develop and share resources to improve the planning, development and delivery of trades and apprenticeship training and education;
  • Support initiatives that complement the NCDATT purpose;
  • Work collaboratively with relevant sector councils, national initiatives, affinity groups and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).
